WILLIAM CHADZA
Executive Director

William is a graduate from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture. He has several years of professional experience managing programs in both national and international institutions. Over the years he has been successfully working in NGO programme management focusing in natural resources management, sustainable rural livelihoods, human capital development, policy reform and local government strengthening

 

HERBERT MWALUKOMO
Programme Director

Herbert holds an MSc in Environmental Studies from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He is an environmental management and research expert with a wealth of experience in programme development, fundraising, environmental assessments and project evaluations. As a researcher, Herbert has analyzed various aspects of environmental policies and practices and their implications for natural resource dependent communities in rural South Africa and Malawi

 

AGATHA CHIMSEWA
Programme Officer (Biodiversity)

Agatha holds Bachelor's degree in Education (Science) from University of Malawi, Chancellor College. She is currently pursuing MSc in Environmental Science from Chancellor College and Swedish University of Agriculture

 

STANLEY MVULA
Programme Officer (Biodiversity)

Stanley holds an MSc in Fisheries Management from University of Malawi. He is a natural resources socioeconomics enthusiast and researcher affluent with livelihoods analysis and natural resource management. He has carried out several development evaluations in the agricultural sector and piloted experimental economics interventions like payment for ecosystem services in forestry. He has also carried out socioeconomic research in fisheries sector and its role in policy and practice.

 

DOROTHY TEMBO NHLEMA
Senior Programme Officer (Climate Change)

Dorothy holds a BSc in Agriculture: Agricultural Economics from Bunda College of Agriculture. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree with Makerere University in Agricultural and Applied economics where she specialized in Agricultural and Rural Development at a shared facility of University of Pretoria. Dorothy has vast experience and knowledge in monitoring and evaluation, national and international climate change and disaster risk management related policy frameworks and processes, knowledge and information management, environmental and natural resources policy research and advocacy.

 

LUKE MALEMBO
Policy and Advocacy Specialist

Luke holds a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture. He also has a Post-graduate Diploma in Rural Development (Renewable Energy and Natural Resources Management) from Lucknow in India. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science Degree in Environmental and Climate Change Sciences at LUANAR. Luke has 25-year work experience in forestry research, information management, State of Environment Reporting, Renewable Energy, Community Based Natural Resources Management, and Policy analysis and Advocacy.

 

STEPHEN CHIKUSE
Programme Officer (Climate Change)

Stephen Chikuse holds an MSc in Natural Resources Management from the University of Leicester, England; and a BSc in Irrigation Engineering from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture. He has almost ten years’ experience working and teaching in environmental and natural resources management. He has keen interest in environmental policy development and advocacy; and his research interests are in the application of geographic information systems and digital remote sensing technologies in the spatial-temporal distribution of water resources relative to natural disasters and climate change.

 

CHARLES KABAMBE
Project Officer (Natural Resources)

Charles holds an Advanced Diploma in Community Development with the Association of Business Managers Administrators UK (ABMA). He has years of experience in policy advocacy, monitoring and implementation

 

CYNTHIA SIMKONDA
Programme Officer (Natural Resources)

Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) degree from Chancellor College. She has worked for the civil service as a Teacher and a Town planner. Her previous work as a Geologist at the Geological Survey Department of the Ministry responsible for Mining has given her enormous experience in the rising mining sector. She also has been trained in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems.

 

GLORIA RUDY MAJIGA
Programme Officer (Natural Resources)

Gloria holds a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from University of Malawi, Chancellor College. Working with Zomba City and Blantyre District Councils, has allowed her exposure and experience in public policy processes and administration.

 

VINCENT MOSES
Programme Officer (Natural Resources)

Vincent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Management (Land Surveying) from Mzuzu University. He also holds a Certificate in Land administration from the Natural Resources College. Working with Lands and Survey departments in the Ministry of Lands has earned him vast experience and skills in land tenure systems, land registration, land information management, land use mapping, community mobilization and sensitization, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing.

 

MCDELL CHINGENI
Finance and Administration Manager

McDell is an innate leader with a profound enthusiasm for understanding clients’ needs and subsequently creating value adding impact. He has strong analytical skills coupled with ability to recognize and comprehend complex issues and to promptly deflate them into simple manageable concerns. He has extensive experience managing financial resources for programmes and projects under different donors throughout his career. In addition, McDell has led in the development of a number of policies for CEPA.

 

DEBRAH PHIRI MJIMA
Accounts Officer

Debra holds an advance Diploma in Accounting from Malawi college of Accountancy (ACCA) and is currently studying for a Bachelors degree in Applied accounting-Audit and Information Systems from Malawi College of Accountancy. She has vast experience in Accounting/Finance, Credit Control and Debt Collection.

 

JOHN MUNTHALI
Accounts Officer

John holds advanced Diploma in Accounting obtained at Malawi College of Accountancy, with vast knowledge and experience in accounting, Finance and Credit Control. He is currently studying for a Bachelors degree in Applied Accounting - Audit and Information Systems from Malawi College of Accountancy.

 

MERLINE ATULIMBIRE MAJAWA
Administrative Assistant

Merline holds a Higher Diploma in Business Management with Association of Business Executives (ABE) and Certificate in Secretarial Studies with PITMAN. She attended training in staff performance appraisal and project appraisal. She has more than 10 years’ work experience in the administration department with various NGOs. She is a team player who is ready to take up new challenges.
