Lizzie T.K Gondwe is an Economist with a combined experience in research, policy analysis, project management, and development programming. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from LUANAR, a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics, and a Diploma in Agriculture. Her expertise spans quantitative and qualitative research, statistical analysis, econometric modelling, impact evaluations, policy analysis, and the design of MEAL frameworks that strengthen evidence-based decision-making. Lizzie has worked extensively for a decade on projects in agriculture, health, education, public finance management, and climate resilience, partnering with diverse stakeholders to address complex issues in areas of macroeconomics and microeconomics. At CEPA, Lizzie leads the MEAL function for the Agricultural Resilience through Climate Services (ARCS) Project, where she ensures that project data systems generate actionable insights to enhance climate information delivery to smallholder farmers. She also works on the MEAL function of the institution. Her work strengthens CEPA’s mission of influencing policy and practice for equitable, inclusive, and promoting sustainable environment and natural resource management in Malawi. She is passionate about linking research with practice, advocacy, promoting accountability, and empowering communities to adapt to climate change through access to reliable climate services.
