Enhanced Support for Farmers’ Rights in Malawi (ESFARM) Project
This project is funded by Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) with the goal of enhancing Support for Farmers Rights in Malawi.
The objectives of this project are to advocate for the development of Farmers’ Rights policy framework that will promote farmers right to save, sell and exchange farmer saved seed, promote participation of farmers in decision making as well as to enable farmers to access benefits arising from the access of their materials. This will be achieved by engaging government and increasing Farmers’ Rights awareness in Malawi. The project will run from January to December, 2019.
