Gender Climate Change & Agriculture Support Project

The "Enhanced Resilience and Participation of Women Farmers Project" is a six-month project whose goal is to empower rural smallholder female farmers to benefit from their participation in the agricultural value chain. The project has two main objectives: to increase the voice of women in the agricultural value chain; and to promote adaptation and resilience to climate change impacts. The project is being implemented in Rumphi and targets ninety direct beneficiaries and 180 indirect beneficiaries all of whom are female.The project is being implemented in Traditional Authority Chikulamayembe, in Mwazisi and Bolero Extension Planning Areas (EPA).
